Lately I’Ve been doing a lot of Sneaker photography on IG (Sneaker_Gno) so I thought I’d post everything from this month. Yesterday I had good friend over that is getting into photography, and a couple weeks ago I managed to get my hands on some studio lights. So Here’s January so far. No new releases so don’t be surprised. Sorry #hypebeast.

SneakerGino’s 2013 Sneaker Challenge
Yesterday 1/4/13 I was challenged by a friend (@Mr_Nasty2Q10) about my credibility of being a true sneaker head. Me being Sneaker Gino I just knew he was joking. The shit talking continued so I told him for the sake of not only proving my credibility but to give me reason to take new photos. I would post a sneaker everyday from my personal collection. I would like to open up the Sneaker Challenge to all my sneaker friend’s and photographers. The rules are posted below.
Let the challenge begins.
Sneaker Challenge Rules:
Any shoes that are submitted to the challenge are subject to be posted on http://www.thepabasement.com, The PA Basement’s twitter and Instagram.
All photos must be tagged with some significant tag, marking, or item.
Please don’t submit any nude, disturbing or inappropriate photos.
In order to complete the challenge you must submit 365 photos of different shoes. Yes same shoes different release counts although it gets boring quick.
For verification purposes you will be asked to submit a group photo of all 365 shoes or over 75% percent of the collection together.
Once you submit the challenge successfully you will receive a challenge gift box that may include sneakers, clothing, stickers, or accessories but not limited to the listed things.

Nike’s Holiday 2011 Preview
As usual around this time of year. Nike releases
their Holiday preview.
This Fall they have included my most hated shoe.
The AF1.
Don’t get me wrong the AF1 has been
customized and creatively inspired by some of the best
but it’s uniform structure and simplicity is a big turn off.
Anyway, back to business. This batch of AF1 designs include the VT technology.
Vac Tech, the vacuum technology used to the mold the shoe creates
a seamless yet highly attractive build. Unlike the usual
stitched leather panels we often see.
On top of the various flavors of AF1 VTs, there are a pair
Lunar Macleays and Footscape Wovens also scheduled for
Nike’s Holiday release.
As September approaches be sure to stop by for release info.
Enjoy!

Jeremy Scott x Adidas OG Wings – Camo
You all know I’m a big fan of artistic kicks.
Jeremy Scott, one of the most talented
sneaker designers out has blessed the sneaker game
with yet another pair of Adiads OG Wings.
This time around he douses the shoe with
dark camo and has lined the inside with a “Aviation” orange.
The combination of the two should have heads turning.
Scott has also included a dog tag with the following lines:
(Top to bottom/Left to right)
SCOTT
JEREMY

B POS
WINGED ATTITUDE

I’m sure your all wondering how to cop a pair.
For $328.30 or 25,200 YEN which ever is cheaper for you

Amare Stoudemire – Nike Air Force Operate. PE
If you all have been following @Amareisreal on twitter (the latest social networking craze)
you would know that he has been working with Nike to make changes to his current deal.
Here’s the latest:
The quality of the photo isn’t well but hey!
Something is better than nothing.
The Elephant ( traditional grey/black cement two tone) print plastered over the entire shoe places a good texture on the shoe, the
purple on the upper of the shoe, back upper Nike symbol
and across the front strap ( also including ”STAT” Stoudemire’s nick name) adds a good pop.
The purple also places a nice color balance to separate the Elephant print and black.
Imagine white or grey…I’m pleased with the shoe. Nike did well.
No surprise PE’s usually go that way.
Shows that you can be subtle as the TBIII’s or drastic as the Nike Air Force Operate.
Would you like to own a pair?
Well head over to Ebay and start bidding. Current price is $500.00
Good Luck Bidding!
Enjoy!

Keep It Original
Yesterday many of you had a first look at the Retro Jordan Cement III scheduled to release in 2012.
With this you may have noticed that the recreation of the shoe is speculated to have nu-buck/suede for many different reasons
the sneakerhead has expressed they would like to see this shoe with the leather instead of nu-buck/suede.
If you agree please help us voice our concerns to Jordan Brand by clicking the link and signing the petition below.
If we speak now and spread the word we may be able to have the retro release mirror the orginal.
Please spread the word and help us get the word to Jordan Brand!
