Me and Calvin aka @baconkid86 this past weekend discussed LeBron 9s
Calvin was a judge at the #Str8kickinit sneaker competition.
I ran into last weekend for the White Cement 4′s release.
Prior to that I ran into him on the Dave White I’s release with J R aka @AllThngzXpensiv
Fellow sneaker heads as well.
Anyway.
Calvin and I agree LeBricks 9 is a poor designed shoe although the colorways are really saving the 9.
Some of the colorways up for discussion are below.
Calvin says the Swing-mans and the Mangos are both good colorways, I agreed.
Matt aka @BroDuncan another sneaker fanatic says the Mangos are “ass” yea you hear him. Ass!
IMOP The shoe could have been designed a bit differently, sure. The colorways are incredible.
The Mangos utilize that splatter mid-sole, bright “Mango” guts, stripped lumber support piece
and that all “Mango” bottom. C’mon son, C’mon. ..
Last year the entire shoe was one color.
The Swingmans were more than exceptional. I agreed with the subtle placements of red as well as
the swing-man emblem on the back. Good job Nike.
The Dunkmans were a shitty color way. They lacked so much artistic characteristics compared to the release of LeBron Dunkmans. Not so impressed Nike.
But, hey who am I to judge.
